* Took an awesome summer road trip to Saint Michaels, Maryland to visit long time patron Lyon Distilling Co. Enjoyed doing “research” drinking lots of rum cocktails, eating tons of crab and sailing out to catch the Chesapeake Bay Log Canoe Races. Also spent time touring the distillery and photographing recently designed new products. Jaime Windon owner and her sister Jessi, as well as, the rest of the knowledgable, fine folks at Lyon Distilling Co. were a joy to spend time with. They’re a hard-working, passionate bunch doing some amazing, innovative distilling. I’m honored to be part of the team working with them since the beginning creating all of the branding through six years of growth. * Excited to have been invited to participate in the 9th annual Bigger Picture Show recreating the movie poster for Gattaca. The 1997 futuristic sci-fi thriller about a world where genetic engineering is used to perfect the human species has always been one of my favorites. This years show theme was movies from the 90’s and posters were available by silent auction with all proceeds benefiting the Indy Film Fest. The Bigger Picture Show is an annual fundraiser created and curated by Lodge Design to support a shared experience around film//

* Travel : American Sign Museum //

* Finally visited the amazing American Sign Museum the last time I was in Cincinnati, Ohio and was overwhelmed with the awesome collection. Shot at ton of photos and a video to share with everyone but highly recommend you go check it out in person... historical, educational and simply beautiful. Really appreciate that they are rescuing and resurrecting these expertly crafted works of sign art preserving and protecting them for us all. * Travel : Willet Distillery Barrel Tasting //

* Took a short drive down I-65 to Bardstown, Kentucky to meet my patron from Houston, Texas – Indianola Distilling Co. and friends who were in town doing distillery tours and tastings. Really enjoyed the warming experience going barrel to barrel sipping a variety of astounding small batch whiskeys in the brisk rickhouse’s of Willet Distillery with some folks who really know their stuff.
